What Is A Web Browser?

A Web browser is basically a software that takes various coding languages, that would otherwise be, to the code illiterate, hard to read and understand, and reforms the code in a easily readable and graphic form. Some of the most popular web browsers that you may of heard of are, Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, Safari, Opera and Flock, but there are so many more web browsers available today on the Internet. A web browser usually comes pre-installed on your computer when you purchase, if you buy a PC the default web browser is usually Internet Explorer, with Mac it's Safari. When you open your web browser to surf the web, what you are seeing is the translation of the code that makes up the webpage and not the actual code itself. As an example, to see this page you would of opened your webbrowser, you would be seeing the content on your computer screen in the same way you would see a page in a book or magazine, but the code that makes the text on your screen readable and easy to understand looks nothing like what you are actually looking at.
